LOW COST OF EDUCATION
This project is entirely dependent on donations. Individuals, organizations, Rotarians, Rotary Clubs can all make a difference with donations of any size. The cost of a student completing a University degree or Trade school Diploma ranges from USD2,000 to USD3,000. This is for a 2 to 4 year program and includes a student’s room and board.
NO ONE IS PAID
This project has practically no administration costs, thus all the funds go to fund students. The funds are managed in Uganda by a volunteer Rotary administrator. Three clubs collaborate in finding needy students, in mentoring them through their years in school and helping them get jobs or create them, once their training or education is complete.
